Interesting Ideas of The RSA

Nature, Local:
If you are fond of nature, or botany in particular and are ever in Sarasota, FL., visit the Crowley Nursery for some beautiful scenery and a huge selection of rare plants to peruse. While in the neighborhood, you might also enjoy Myakka State Park, which is a special place in Florida where an original, indigenous state is what they strive to maintain. The park is 28 thousand acres, and a very short drive from the place mentioned above. To get a hint of Florida as intended by (insert favorite deity), or to see an environment that is pre-golf frenzy, pre-strip-plaza mania, pre-cookie-cut-house fiasco, etc., these should do well. If the drive East does not suit your plans, you could visit Jessica’s Stand Organic Farm, and either purchase the finest vegetables available (On Fri-Sat.), or have a look at the 5 acre organic farm, and see an example of how such a tremendous operation can thrive amidst an unsuspected environment.
*Note: None of the places mentioned have anything to do with “me”, but are places which I have visited and admire. I suspect the same would apply for others too.
